Acidos Art Class
We’re holding an in-house art class every week (well, we try) for our artists, so they can brush up on everything from illustration, sketch and composition and possibly to design, storyboarding and the FUTURE!

Of course we start with sketchbooks. Bought a number of these sketchbooks from Muji a month ago, gave each of the acidos one so we can informally start our weekly in-house art class.
The reason we’re giving them identical sketchbooks is that they’re going to have the same number of pages to draw on, so that means they’re gonna reach their last pagse at the same time. If anyone runs out of pages before everyone else, that means that someone tore a page or two and remade one of their exercises. I don’t encourage this, because the exercises serve as tests, and they should be sure of what they’re doing once they put their pencil to the canvass.
It’s a training in both confidence and discipline.
One good thing about these sketchbooks is the paper is kinda flimsy, kinda mimeographed-paper quality. It’s good for pencil & charcoal sketches, but you can’t erase that much, or you’ll damage the paper, which is kinda good since it trains them to be sure of what they’re doing… they have to create a gameplan on how to ‘attack’ their weekly pieces.
